The NAPS Association is a not-for-profit, non-stock corporation, formed for the purpose of establishing and maintaining a school to provide the highest quality elementary education from preschool through fifth grade. The NAPS Association is governed by its own set of bylaws. Each parent or legal guardian responsible for paying the tuition and fees of a NAPS student is eligible for membership in the association as long as the child is enrolled in the school and the student's account is in good standing. School faculty and staff, without children enrolled, are also eligible for association membership as long as they are employed at the school. The Naval Academy Primary School is managed for the Association under the direction of the NAPS Board of Directors. The current NAPS Association Board of Directors is listed on the chart below. The NAPS Association meets at least twice a year to transact business. Meetings are held in the fall and spring. At the spring meeting, members elect the Board of Directors from the Association membership. The positions up for election rotate each year. For the 2012-2013 academic year, the NAPS Fall Association meeting will be on Thursday September 12, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.
