Here at NAPS we depend on all kinds of volunteers; classroom helpers, office assistants and parents who give their time as part of many school activities. Being involved in your child’s education is one of the most important things you can do as a parent and we welcome you to be our partner. There is no set limit to giving your time. Some volunteers work many days per week while others serve when they can. Every volunteer is important and needed!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Classroom helpers (Room Parent, Reading/Math Helper, Administrative Helper)- Simply ask your child’s teacher what he/she needs. There are usually a wide range of tasks including some that may be performed at home.

Library Volunteers - Especially needed during book fair; call or email Kristy Woody in the library at 410-757-3090 and kwoody@napschool.com.

NAPS Association Volunteers - There are many ways to get involved with the association, for more information about specific jobs, contact Devon Clouse at 410-757-3090 or dclouse@napschool.com.

Special Events - NAPS has three “Special Events” which require a significant number of volunteers. Those events are the NAPS 5K/10K, Savor Spring Fundraiser, and Blue and Gold Day. To volunteer your time or talent for any of these events please contact the front office at 410-757-3090.

These are just a few of the ways you may help at NAPS. Please consider giving your time whenever possible as you work with us to make your child’s school experience more enriching and beneficial.
